Privacy Policy

Add Caffeine does not collect, store, or transmit any user data. The app makes no network connections at all.
What the app stores
Add Caffeine stores only your preferences, and only on your Mac:
- the duration you picked (15 min, 30 min, 1 h, 2 h, unlimited, or a custom time);
- whether Keep the display on is enabled;
- whether the app should open at login.
These preferences live in the app's own sandbox container on your computer. They never leave your Mac and we have no access to them.
The list of applications
So that you can keep the Mac awake only while certain apps are running, Caffeine reads the list of running applications — the same list macOS shows in Activity Monitor. This happens entirely on your Mac, in real time, and none of it is stored, transmitted, or shared.
No tracking, no third parties
- No analytics, telemetry, or usage metrics.
- No advertising identifiers.
- No third-party SDKs, libraries, or services bundled in the app.
- No account, sign-up, or login.
Children
Add Caffeine is not directed at children and, since it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.
Changes to this policy
If the app's practices change, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will reflect it.
